If you've ever danced at a fiesta in northern New Mexico, you already know Cuarenta y Cinco. Since 1991 they've been one of the state's most-loved bands — the sound of Saturday nights, wedding dances, and small-town plazas from Chimayó on out across the Southwest. What sets them apart is the blend: rancheras and cumbias sitting right next to boleros, valses, country and western, oldies, and a little rock and rockabilly — all of it high-energy, all of it made to fill a dance floor. It's neotraditional New Mexico music at its best, from a band that's kept the genre alive and moving for more than thirty years. Booking: (505) 852-4250
