Continental Divide National Scenic Trail

The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail extends approximately 3,100 miles between Mexico and Canada, offering high-quality primitive hiking and horseback riding along the Divide. In northwestern New Mexico, where the route crosses BLM lands, it is identified by line-of-sight signs and rock cairns rather than conventional trailhead signage. Photography is permitted.
