Gallo Campground (Chaco Culture)

Gallo Campground lies within Chaco Culture National Historical Park in northwestern New Mexico, tucked among the boulders and cliffs of Gallo Wash and surrounded by petroglyphs and a cliff dwelling. Reservations are required through Recreation.gov. Note: several campsites have recently been closed due to significant rock fall — confirm current site availability before booking. Photography is permitted.
