Orilla Verde Recreation Area

Orilla Verde Recreation Area lies within Rio Grande del Norte National Monument along the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River in north-central New Mexico. Campgrounds provide direct access to the steep-walled Rio Grande Gorge, where gentle waters with occasional small rapids support a wide range of recreational activities. Photography is permitted.
