San Lorenzo Canyon
San Lorenzo Canyon in south-central New Mexico is a primitive recreation area jointly managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the BLM, featuring a scenic east-west canyon of sandstone cliffs, arches, and hoodoos. Primitive camping and hiking are the primary uses; no restrooms or drinking water are available, and high-clearance or 4WD vehicles are recommended for access. Photography is permitted.
