2026 Chile Challenge 4x4

This is a full-sized vehicle offroad event that takes place over 4 days in the Caballo Mountains. Riverside Campground (group site) is the staging area for the trail runs, as well as the place where we host informative clinics about off-roading safely, host raffles, and gather to socialize. There will be one food vendor, the Food Dude. The event itself is October 14-17 and that is when the majority of people will be there. The club rents out the group site for the duration of the week so that we have time to set up and take down/clean up properly. The vehicles associated with the event start heading out to the mountains at 8 am on Wednesday-Saturday and head back to camp after their trail is done ranging from noon-6pm. We leave no one behind on the trails and ensure every leader checks off that their group is back by the end of the day. All participants are informed that they are responsible for their camping fees while in the park and are subject to all federal, state and local laws concerning behavior, alcohol and drugs.
