AdvocacyCon, a national crime advocacy conference dedicated to education, connection, and collaboration in the fight for justice, will take place at the Albuquerque Convention Center from September 11 through September 13, 2026. AdvocacyCon brings together law enforcement professionals, legal experts, nonprofit organizations, content creators, and families of missing and murdered individuals. The event is designed to foster meaningful dialogue, share resources, and help move cases forward through community engagement and collaboration. AdvocacyCon is uniquely trauma-informed, offering a supportive environment for attendees. The conference will include comfort animals on-site and participation from organizations such as H.O.P.E.’s local chapter, ensuring resources and care are available throughout the event. The 2026 conference will feature a lineup of notable speakers, including keynote speaker Nichole Schmidt, mother of Gabby Petito, who will speak on September 12. Also appearing is Patrick Hinds, co-host and co-creator of the popular True Crime Obsessed podcast. Additional speakers, exhibitors, and programming will be announced in the coming months.
