Dear Democracy/Dear America

As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, The Mad Hatter Gallery invited New Mexico artists to participate in “Dear Democracy / Dear America,” a multidisciplinary art exhibit exploring democracy through personal reflection and artistic expression. Inspired by the sentiments and familiarity of greeting cards, participating artists explore democracy’s successes, failures, contradictions, hopes, and unfinished promises through visual art. The exhibit is on view July 1 to August 15, with an opening reception, July 3 from 5PM to 8PM. The Mad Hatter Gallery is open Mon,-Fri., 11AM to 5PM, Sat., 10AM-2PM, and by appointment.
