Electric Shuttle Tours at Valle de Oro

Discover your National Wildlife Refuge! Informative tours of refuge habitats in our open-air electric shuttle will be available on the first Friday (except for the July 3rd holiday) and Saturday of each month, and the last Saturday of each month. Tours are led by volunteers, take about 45 minutes and are available on demand by checking in at the visitor center front desk. Tour Days: Saturday July 4 Saturday July 25 Friday August 7 Saturday August 8 Saturday August 29 Friday September 4 Saturday September 5 Saturday September 26 9:30 am to 2:00 pm each day The shuttle offers trips around the refuge on-demand during scheduled service times. Just show up and check in at the visitor center for a free ride. The shuttle can offer a tour of habitats around the refuge starting and ending at the visitor center, or can serve as a way to get to different parts of the refuge, dropping you off at your chosen destination. Our shuttle service is entirely operated by a small team of volunteers, so the schedule is subject to change.
