Visit Las Cruces and Film Las Cruces invite you to join us for the launch of the Las Cruces Film Tour on Monday, August 10 from 5:30-7pm at the Rio Grande Theatre. The event will highlight the impact of film in southern NM and local film locations. The film tour is self guided. A brochure will be available that includes a map of popular film locations. The Rio Grande Theatre gallery is being transformed into an area to learn about the tour as well as enjoy popular movie posters and props. This area will be open to the public Monday – Friday, 9am-4pm and during special events when the theatre is open. There will also be information displayed at all times that can be seen from the outside of the gallery. Refreshments will be served. Immediately following the reception, a special family edition of “The Wrap” will commence in the main theatre.
