Join Ranger Daniel at Taylor-Mesilla Historic Site to learn about Mary Daniels Taylor's photographs of Mesilla. During the fifty-four years that Mrs. Taylor lived on Mesilla Plaza, she documented many of the religious and secular events that defined the community, including the annual celebrations at San Albino church, the seasonal planting and harvesting of crops, and the preservation of the town's historic adobe homes and businesses. Come learn about the different types of cameras she used, her darkroom techniques, and her vast collection of prints and negatives. Photo courtesy of NMSU Archives, J. Paul Taylor Papers
