An original play developed by Zephyr Stage (Colorado), The Deepest Yes: Stieglitz & O’Keeffe is inspired by the lives and letters of artist Georgia O’Keeffe and her husband - the father of modern American photography, Alfred Stieglitz. This hour and twenty-minute-long chemical reaction blends a tempestuous love story with echoes of Faust and the spirit of modernist rebellion. Alfred told Georgia that if she wanted to understand him, she'd need to read Faust. He meant it - navigating choices that blur fame and shame, love and legacy. Expect poetry, haunting imagery, addiction, a little nudity and a furious unraveling — artistic, spiritual and personal.
