Valle Vidal

Valle Vidal in northeastern New Mexico encompasses all streams within the Valle Vidal unit under a Special Trout Water designation (Red chile). The waters support Rio Grande cutthroat trout, brook trout, and brown trout and are strictly catch-and-release; only artificial fly or lure with a single barbless hook is permitted. A valid New Mexico fishing license is required. Managed by the USFS Questa Ranger District and the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish. Photography is permitted.
