A heavily forested Taos County (Sangre de Cristo) unit with elk, mule deer, and Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep; black bear (NMDGF Bear Zone 3) and cougar are huntable. Bighorn is a highly limited draw. Confirm all seasons and draw with NMDGF.
Public access
About 78% public land, primarily Carson National Forest with excellent road access; tribal land in the south is closed to public hunting and private holdings occupy the corners.
