County B-054 CDNST Trailhead

Trailhead on County Road B-054 (Bursum Road) providing access to the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail #74 in the Gila National Forest's Reserve Ranger District near Ghost Lake. Located at 7,559 feet elevation in western Catron County, New Mexico. Managed by USDA Forest Service. From Reserve, travel 12 miles north on NM-12, then east on Forest Road 94 (Cox Canyon Road) approximately 24 miles, then turn left on County Road B-054 for 2.3 miles. Overnight parking available but no potable water on site. Allows backpacking, hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking on the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail.
