Perea Nature Trail

Perea Nature Trail is a one-mile loop in the Jemez Mountain Range foothills just outside San Ysidro, Sandoval County, in northwest New Mexico, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The trail offers views of mountain peaks, the Rio Salado riverbed, Blanco Mesa, and Nacimiento Mountain formations. Located within a migratory bird pathway, it provides birdwatching and photography opportunities with a bench and cottonwood tree for rest.
