Robledo Mountains Wilderness Area
Robledo Mountains Wilderness Area is a 16,776-acre protected desert wilderness in Doña Ana County, south-central New Mexico, managed by the BLM Las Cruces Field Office. The area features canyons, limestone cliffs, gentle slopes, caves, and riparian corridors within the Chihuahuan Desert, with vegetation including scattered junipers, diverse cacti, mesquite, creosote bush, and grassland. Established in 2019, it is open to hiking and wilderness recreation under a 14-day maximum stay limit.
