Socorro Nature Area
A 120-acre environmental education area managed by the BLM in the Rio Grande Bosque (a riparian forest along the Rio Grande) near Socorro in Socorro County, south-central New Mexico. The site features a 1.5-mile network of two trail loops with dirt and gravel surfaces, interpretive signage, and basic facilities including an amphitheater, picnic tables, and group shelter.
